I am using this so that I can use it on a work machine while home without doing a real install, which they suppress. I use UltraVNC on my various machines only on the local network. I am not the best tester for you as I have not tried all options. I have been using the portable apps version for a few weeks with no real problems. UltraVNC is an empty folder that should be placed in App\DefaultData, and will get automatically copied to Data on first run.
